WH40K - New Trukk

This war trukk is more of a hot rod. It is wider but shorter than the standard model kit, and uses the tracks from the wartrakk. I sort of threw it together - that's why it's got the hotrod 'slope' - it's the only way to make the tracks and the wheels level. Also, it is always going downhill, which saves on fungus fuel.

Converting Mighty Empire Tiles

I just bought the WD with the ME tiles. I don't play Fantasy - but they will make an excellent Battle Board for my Imperial Guard Colonel and his staff. Watch this space!

WH40K - Ork Fighta - WIP 5 - Finished Painting

I have painted blue skulls and spanners on yellow backgrounds on the side hatches. Matching blue skulls and spanners under the wings. Teeth and eyes on the cockpit, as well as little red safety triangles. (They don't indicate any particular function on the fighta; the Mekboys just thought they should be there.) There is also a red, yellow and blue tag on the tail, which I am not particularly pleased with. It doesn't mean anything; it just ties in the other markings.

WH40K - Ork Fighta - WIP 4 - Painting

Added cockpit canopy made of model bits, strip styrene and the clear plastic from a blister pack.
The fighta has been painted, but I am waiting for it to dry and for the massive amount of superglue I used to fog everything up before photographing it.
Still haven't decided on 'warpaint' (teeth, eyes, insignia, etc) except for some D-Day style black and white stripes on the wings.
